Alright guys, the time has come for me to share with you my FAVORITE baby items. It was so hard to narrow it down to just ten!! But I am super excited to share these items with you and tell you why I love them so much. These all should be the top of your baby wish lists!

My first must have is the Owlet Smart Sock. Those who know me, know safety is super important to me. As a Registered Nurse, I see and hear about the sad and unfortunate things that happen to little one’s all around me. It’s so heartbreaking! So having a monitor that keeps track of baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels is HUGE!! Keep in mind, the sock may be a little big at first depending on the size of your baby which can cause the sock to have some false readings. I found putting a baby sock over the top of the Owlet helped it stay in place a little bit better during those first few months when my little one was still growing into hers. I also love that it comes with various sock sizes so it grows with your baby! My 18 month old still fits in her Owlet but she takes it off every night so we don’t use it anymore!

My second must have baby item is the Nuna Pipa LTE Car Seat. Oh boy, this car seat is so dreamy!! Never thought I would be saying this about a car seat but DANG! Nuna hit it out of the park. Every single one of their car seats are beautifully and wonderfully made. I am going to do a full blog post on the Nuna Pipa LTE cause THERE IS SO MUCH TO SAY! I also have a full product review video going up on my YouTube Channel this weekend so watch for that. A couple of things that I love about this car seat: the aluminum handlebar with the leatherette is a look that can’t be beat, the safety features, and how well it holds up. Some key safety features include: made with flame resistant materials without all the flame retardant chemicals, and the base has a load/stability leg with increases crash performance. Also, this car seat is super easy to clean, and wipes down super well with just a damp cloth!

The third baby item I recommend is the Hatch Sound Machine. Never did I think that I would need a sound machine but it’s now something we can’t live without! White noise not only drowns out the sounds from outside and around the house but it is also very comforting to babies as it closely mimics the sound of the mother’s womb. At the hospital in the nursery, we use white noise a lot cause it comforts the newborn babies and helps them adapt to life outside the womb. The Hatch Sound Machine can be controlled by your phone and you can set various timers/settings on it so it will turn on at certain times of the day.

Fourth must have is good swaddle blankets! I have tried my fair share of baby blankets and I am here to tell you to LOOK NO FURTHER. My all time favorite swaddle blankets come from Copper Pearl. The prints are so cute and adorable and they also have matching hats that are perfect for little babies and keeping them nice and warm! I also love love love the brand, Cozy’s. Each of these brands use super soft and STRETCHY fabric. The stretch is a must when getting a good swaddle! I have swaddle THOUSANDS of babies in my time as a Registered Nurse and having a good size blanket that is stretchy makes a big difference.

The fifth baby item you must have is a good diaper rash cream. My favorite brand I have used is Young Living’s Diaper Rash Cream. Oh this stuff is gold!! It has a nice lavender scent and it WORKS. Seriously, there have been days where my little one’s rash is TERRIBLE and it literally is gone overnight. Plus, it is made with all safe ingredients. If you want to purchase some from Young Living, email me and I can get some for you!

My sixth recommendation is the UppaBaby Vista stroller. First of all, this stroller is NOT cheap. It hurt a lot when we bought it cause it’s a lot of money BUT it is so worth the price you pay. This stroller is basically the Cadillac of strollers. I love the look of this stroller, the beautiful leather accents and fabric that they made this stroller with is amazing. I also LOVE how roomy the basket underneath the stroller is. That is one thing I didn’t like about my first stroller we purchased so I am glad this stroller offers that feature. What drove us to buy this stroller was the option it had to become a double stroller. With two little ones I knew I was going to need a double stroller but I am not a fan of how bulky most double strollers are. I love how the Vista can be a single or a double stroller! Definitely worth the investment.

The seventh baby item you must have are the Comotomo bottles. I breastfed my first little one but she also took a bottle when I went back to work. These bottles were perfect as they didn’t cause her any nipple confusion. I love the wide mouth of these bottles and how SIMPLE they are. There’s some bottles on the market that have 6 different pieces and that is just a little too much to clean for a busy mom.

The eighth baby item you must have is a good swing. We purchased the 4Moms MamaRoo with our first baby. As she was the only child in our house, we didn’t utilize the swing as much as most moms do so she didn’t LOVE it. But I will say that with this next baby it will definitely be used more! I plan on purchasing the infant insert for the MamaRoo in hopes it helps our little babe feel a little more secure when she is in it.

The ninth baby item you must have is a Snuggle Me Organic lounge pillow. This is something I didn’t have with my first but I can tell you it’s a must have. This pillow is ingenious. When you place your baby in this lounger, the weight of your baby pulls the sides of the pillow closer to him/her so they feel like they are being held. It is also a great tool to have to use during tummy time. This pillow was designed to be an extra set of arms for parents and it’s perfect! Please keep in mind that the AAP advises against ANY padded loungers for safe sleep purposes. So if you use a Snuggle Me, remember that it is for supervised use only!

Last but certainly not least, you must have a good diaper bag! I recommend the Fawn Design bags. They are made of faux leather and can be a shoulder/cross body style or can be used as a backpack. I have only used mine as a backpack because it’s super convenient. I love how many pockets are on the inside and outside of this bag. My favorite pocket that I use is the front outside pocket. It’s perfect to slip my phone in when going places so that way I don’t have to dig through my bag to get my phone out if I need it. There are a couple bags similar to the Fawn out there but I am here to tell you that the Fawn is the BEST. I have used the other competitors and found there were features about their bags I did not like so they just didn’t compare to the Fawn for me. I have also been impressed with the quality of this bag. I have used it for a year and a half now and it looks brand new. So definitely worth the investment.

Phew, that was a long one but I sure hope this helps you mama’s navigate through all the baby products out there. These are truly the best of the best and I know you won’t be disappointed!

xoxo,
